Key Responsibilities for the Group Finance Systems Manager

Pivotal role sitting within Global FP & A driving bond between Finance and IT. Responsible for the successful delivery of the Performance management tool according to the deliverables as defined below.

The role will take strategic direction from the Global Head of FP&A and partner with multiple stakeholders including the overall Project Manager and the External firm of consultants. This role will also work closely with the IT organisation to ensure that the strategic direction of the Performance Management project is aligned to the overall IT architecture.

  • Effective Project Manager
  • Able to interpret and distill multiple business requirements into simple solutions
  • Able to design and implement best-in-class reporting/budgeting capabilities
  • Customer focus, effective business partner, challenging and driving accountability
  • Self-starter - proactive and challenges the status quo
  • Enthusiastic team player, willing to pitch in as required and take on responsibility


  • Great presentations skills both orally and Board level powerpoint presentations
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills focused on ownership, timeliness and clear deliverables

Systems and Design knowledge

  • Experienced in the design of Performance management tools such as Hyperion planning
  • Experienced in managing big data; able to summarise and deliver great insight
  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or MS Dynamics
  • Expert in excel, proficient in pivot tables and complex formulae
