Prospero Teaching are proud to partner an excellent school in Swindon in their search for a school data administrator. We are looking for an experienced school Data Administrator who is enthusiastic, determined and well organised to lead the busy office team and manage all elements of in house data collation.

This maternity cover is a full time position for 6-9 months that is looking to start in September 2017. There will be a 2 week handover period at the end of July with the current school data administrator (fully paid).

Usual working hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, term time only + 1 week. You will be expected to work 1 or 2 days in each school holiday to collate the data from the previous term. Salary dependent upon experience.

APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE 2 YEARS OF REFERENCES AND HOLD A VALID DBS CERTIFICATE.
(If you do not currently hold one you must be willing to obtain one before the start date)

Your role as a Data Administrator will involve:

*Extensive use of Microsoft programmes including Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation, cross spreadsheet referencing etc.)
*Working continuously with SIMS to manage pupil data
*Managing and manipulate all school reports and giving feedback to senior leadership team
Running daily reports and using internal monitoring systems to record school absence and attainment
*General office management including stock management
Working with agencies and teachers to cover short and long cover requirements
*Phonics administration
*Liaising with LEA regarding EYFS enrollment in Nursery and Reception years
*KS1 and KS2 SATs exam co-ordination
*Communication with parents and children as needed within the school office.

An ideal Data Administrator will have the following qualities:

*Excel experience is essential for this job as you will be using this regularly
*Excellent organisation skills and ability to multitask and prioritise workload
*Minimum of 12 months UK experience working as an Administrator in an education based environment
