Care Team Leader/Senior Support Worker
Full time: An average of40 hours per week over 7 days, 7:00am - 11:00pm plus sleep in duties and 1 x 8 hour continued professional development day per month. These hours are to be worked across an agreed rota and include weekends
Salary Scale: £18,800 p.a.- £24,700 p.a. + c£1,700 sleep in allowance

Options Kinsale, a children’s Education and Residential service, based in Holywell, North Wales require Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team. In a stunning rural setting our service is within easy reach of Rhyl, Llandudno, Bangor, Wrexham, Flint, Prestatyn, Chester and surrounding towns. Starting salary £18,800 p.a. + c£1,700 sleep in allowance
Due to continued company growth, this new role of ActingCare Team Leader/Senior SupportWorker provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic supervisor to join our thriving business. Options Complex Needs provides care and education for children and young people with complex needs including; impaired cognitive functioning due to early life trauma, Autism, Asperger’s, Dyspraxia, and ADHD
As a ActingTeam Leader for the home, you will have responsibility to lead, supervise and motivate your care team, ensuring high quality care and support to the young people in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.
Applicants must meet and evidence the following criteria:-
- Hold the Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) NVQ Level 3 OR Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) *
- Have the ability and experience to deal with complex and challenging behaviour
- To demonstrate effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and individuals
- To be effective in both written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to keep accurate records

It is also a requirement that you register with Care Council for Wales within the specified timescale and maintain your registration.
