We have an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work within our small team delivering a wide range of art and therapeutic design projects for the new Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Department of Clinical Neurosciences in Edinburgh. This role will focus on the fabrication and installation phases of the projects which are due to be completed in March 2018.

We are seeking motivated, independent and enthusiastic practitioners who have a real interest in the delivery phase of large scale, multi-organisation projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starting individual who is confident working in the areas of project administration and assistant project management. It is expected that the Assistant Project Manager will work on a five day, full time equivalent basis between June 2017 - March 2018. We are offering a salary of £18,000 -20,000 (pro rata) over a ten month period. We are seeking candidates for an immediate or quick start, with a preferred start date of 5th June.

The Assistant Project Manager will be ideally located in Edinburgh or surrounding area.

This role will appeal to those interested in the fields of construction, project management, arts management, therapeutic design and healthcare environments. This project offers the right individual an opportunity to contribute to a major arts and healthcare programme.

We are working within a multidisciplinary team made up of a wide range of healthcare, construction and cultural practitioners. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders while understanding the needs of each is key.
