Page Personnel are working with a well established business based in Wrexham to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Description

As Assistant Management Accountant, your main duties will be:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, year end accounts, management and operational reporting

  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • KPI and cash reporting
  • Supporting the stock take and stock reconciliations & reporting
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process through collating data and analysing variances
  • Working closely with all departmental managers across the business ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the management accounts and supporting managers of business in delivering their financial targets
  • Working on a project to review and implement new accounting and operating software
  • Attending operational meetings and supporting managers

Profile

The successful applicant to the Management Accountant role must:

  • Be actively studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA will be considered)

  • Be able to communicate across all levels of the business
  • Some sort of management accounting exposure will be ideal
  • Able to present financial information in a simple but meaningful way
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and be proactive in developing processes and procedures
  • Have a positive outlook and strong focus on customer service
