Are you a CMLI qualified Landscape Architect looking to step up into a team leader role?

Are you an experienced team leader looking to work in a forward thinking, growing practice?

My client based on the outskirts of Sudbury are looking to recruit an experienced Landscape Gardener to join their creative, well regarded and innovative team - you will mentor and develop the team - maintaining and building existing and new relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

You will work on a variety of diverse projects contemporary central London urban design projects, aspirational large-scale town extensions, designs for schools, colleges, hospitals and other private and public sector developments.

Duties include but are not limited too:

Facilitate smooth production and delivery of projects and carry out production tasks on own jobs as required
Train, coach and assist team members and ensure quality feedback on behaviour and performance
Formulate accurate briefs from client instruction
Enthuse and motivate the team
Ensure quality assurance and quality control systems are being followed and that all work issued is in keeping with minimum standards, client protocols and deadlines
Prepare information for team member performance reviews
Prepare fee quotes
Programme and manage departmental work-load, allocating projects to suit the team members and to ensure efficient production
Oversee production by other team members ensuring quality outputs at all times - i.e. well-written; accurate content and presentation
Be aware of current KPIs and monitor team targets
Provide advice to clients, or referring queries accurately to other members of the team;
Build client relationships to secure regular and repeat business
Attend Management meetings and action team meetings/ workshops.
Prepare and manage the training programme for the department;
Cover Head of Department duties when they are absence.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and abilities:

Fully qualified CMLI
Extensive experience in landscape architecture
Previous experience of team or project management
You will need to have good hard and soft landscape design skills
Excellent client facing skills
