Online Sales Executive – Lymington – £16k - £18k + company bonus – Full-Time

The Role:

Handling all aspects of sales and enquiries through to successful completion, including:

  • Promptly responding to incoming telephone and email enquiries in a timely, positive and professional manner.
  • Proactively developing relationships and driving sales turnover through one-off and repeat customers; communicating offers, availability and product developments to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicating efficiently with customers via telephone and email regarding orders placed and expected delivery dates etc.
  • Compiling and submitting quotations, following up and converting opportunities into sales orders.
  • Improving profit and margin enhancement through competition monitoring and considered price pitching.
  • Managing product uploads; ensuring descriptions, prices, categories and markdowns are correct, implemented and removed on time.
  • Working with suppliers to build product knowledge to a competent level.

  Administrative tasks:

  • Organisation and management of deliveries, liaising with customers, suppliers, couriers and the warehouse team.
  • Checking and processing sales orders, supplier acknowledgements, purchase invoices, raising delivery notes, raising customer invoices, taking payments when necessary.
  • Overseeing and promptly handling amendments or chargeable additions to orders, goods returns and supplier and clients credits.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Pro-active, organised and result orientated working style, possessing strong negotiation skills and good attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently & effectively with customers, suppliers & colleagues.
  • Great team player with an excellent attitude towards providing high levels of customer service with the aim of exceeding customer expectation in keeping with our reputation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.


  • Energetic and proactive personality with a keen interest in driving sales.
  • Ability to use Microsoft and IT packages efficiently and effectively.


  • Previous experience incorporating kitchen and/or bathroom design, sales and sales order administration.
  • Knowledge of CAD systems; preferably 20/20 Fusion FX and EQ Software systems.
