Senior Microsoft Specialist ( Licensing )
We are looking for Senior Microsoft Specialist for one of our Clients to join their growing team in their main branch in Central London.
Our client is a global IT provider specializing in license management, sourcing, technical product consulting and cloud-based professional services. With a track record spanning thirty years, the Company serves both the corporate and public sectors. Their portfolio includes software licenses from more than 3,000 vendors as well as consultancy and professional services.
To provide in-depth pre sales ownership in the positioning and enablement of licensing procurement through the sales cycle.
Act as an advisory representative, providing impartial advice as a trusted advisor to end customers and internal sellers.
Able to present the Company's vision and strategy coherently and consistently to a procurement, technical and business audience
Support new business opportunities and help build and qualify pipeline
Actively promote the core vendors in the Company's portfolio internally within organisation.
Understand the customer’s requirement through the entire sales cycle working with the appropriate business units within Company's UK to support i.e. technical services.
Maintain product/solutions expertise of market trends in aligned technology including detailed understanding of competition Visit customers and hold EA welcome workshops.
Provide T-36 deliverables between renewal periods - QBRs etc. developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers.
Identify, plan, prepare, and negotiate any annuity and transactional business.
Provide specialist knowledge during any focus campaigns/events to advise on appropriate licensing models and solutions and assist with commercials.
Be the point of contact for Microsoft related customer enquiries and queries and resolve to enhance customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain expertise in Microsoft solutions and the wider portfolio from a sales perspective.
Ensure specialist knowledge it kept up to date.
Support Company's Account Managers with T-36 deliverables between renewal periods - QBRs etc. Support customers with licensing queries, developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers. Identify, plan, prepare, and support Account Managers with negotiating any annuity and transactional business.
Deliver Specialist Microsoft workshops, where necessary. Engage with appropriate internal resources and management to ensure solution meets customer needs.
Ensure good collaboration & communication with Microsoft staff on all renewals and new opportunities, including negotiation tactics. Attend QBR’s and maintain good relationships with Microsoft Partner Sales team.
Provide specialist knowledge during any focus marketing campaigns/events to advise on
appropriate licensing models and solutions and assist with commercials. Claim SPIFF to support sales campaigns where possible.
Assist with sales documentation and methodology to enable the sales process and information.
Maintain accurate forecast, updated continuously and in line with expected profit.
Manage UK requirements for MPN renewals.
Identify and organise readiness training for Sales
Manage Deal registration for New Microsoft EA business
Hands on approach to level 100 through to level 500 tasks and related duties
QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS
Excellent all round knowledge of commercials and experience of interacting with , sales and marketing departments.
Sales competency certifications would be beneficial.
MCP Volume Licensing.
5 Years licensing experience in the field.
