An exciting opportunity to join the claims department of this international insurance provider specialising in one of their core products of legal expenses insurance claims.

Jobholders are expected to provide an efficient and experienced claims handling services to all customers responding to claims using excellent written and call handling skills and in line with department service standards and internal / external service level requirements.

The Claims Negotiator will be expected to investigate, negotiate and handle claims from cradle to grave and will be responsible for the declining and accepting of claims, negotiating legal representation, managing solicitor’s costs along with appropriate reserving practices and in line with limits of indemnity and also seeking the recovery of legal costs whilst always adhering to limits placed on them within their personal claims licence and with FCA set requirements.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

Qualification in Law preferably a Law Degree.
Good knowledge of the legal industry.
Insurance claims handling experience ideally in Legal Expenses
