Job role: Workshop / Vehicle Rental Administrator

Location: Northampton

Annual Salary: £24,000 per year, bonus of up to £2,000 per year

Due to business expansion my client, a large vehicle hire organisation is actively seeking to employ an experienced Workshop / Rental Administrator to work in their facility in the Northampton area.

The successful applicant will undertake the following duties;

- Liaise with current customers regarding the vehicles out on the road
- Ensure that customers are aware as to when their vehicles are required to be serviced / maintained / MOT'd
- Liaise with the vehicle workshop to ensure that the workshop is operating at full capacity at all times
- Ensure that all vehicle paper work is fully up to date and complies with ministry requirements
- Arrange with in house vehicle drivers regarding the collection and delivery of vehicles
- Manage available vehicles and associated paperwork to ensure that the rental department is fully aware of asset availability
- Collect vehicle parts from suppliers when required, potentially deliver items to other depots in the region
- General customer service on a face to face and over the phone basis
- General administration

As my client operates within the commercial vehicle sector, we are looking for individuals who have knowledge of this industry. You MUST have a full UK driving licence that is free from penalty points.

Hours of work are from 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday with half an hour daily lunch break and two fifteen minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.
