Senior Payroll Clerk

Based: Blackburn

Salary: up to £29k dependent on experience

Our client is a fantastic, expanding Manufacturer based in Blackburn going through an exciting time. They have been acquired by a global company and looking to double their turnover in the next few years

They are now looking for a strong Payroll Clerk to join their team in a stand alone role managing Payroll/Accounts duties for the company. The role will be majority Payroll (solely) with some time spent assisting the existing finance team with duties as required

Role:

  • Managing Payroll processes for currently 250 + staff (increasing)
  • PAYE accruals
  • Intercompany recharges and accounts where required
  • HMRC submissions, P11D's, managing company expenses
  • Assisting finance team with Purchase/Sales Ledger and VAT returns

You must have hands on experience in Payroll - having experience in all of the above.

This role is a stand alone Payroll position so it is important you are up to date with current Payroll legislations and able to run payroll sole handed
