The Electrical Shift Engineer will provide a safe and efficient maintenance service within a fast paced environment. You will liaise with all departments and report into a direct Line Manager.

This is a full time role working working on a shift pattern basis.

The attractive and competitive salary for this role is £36000.

-Maintaining the dynamic performance of new and current machines on a continuing basis and suggest improvements.

-Ensure proactive response to maintenance and breakdowns on site.

-Carry out maintenance activities, ensuring the manufacturing team achieve maximum compliance to the production plan by minimising engineering downtime.

-Identify the root cause, record actions taken to correct fault and accurately update Planned Maintenance System.

-Identify and order correct spare parts from different sources and communicate this information across levels.

-Share knowledge with colleagues to support multi-disciplinary environment

-Complete verbal and written shift handovers ensuring maintenance log is fully completed by end of shift.


- Electrical biased engineer

- You will be time served with academic engineering qualifications (HNC or HND or equivalent, City & Guilds)

- FMCG environment experience.

- 17th Edition wiring regulations would be deemed advantageous.

- Proactive approach to Problem solving

- Identify and implement process improvements

- A can do attitude.

- Ability to adapt and willingness to learn and develop

Job Offer

£36000 per annum plus overtime
