Based London

At FCO Services, the work you take on will just mean more. It will help protect the UK’s interests around the world. It’ll be geographically and technically diverse. And, above all, it will help to keep people and information safe.

You’ll provide front line security on a global scale

This specialist security role will see you managing physical security assets across the UK and worldwide. You’ll take on a wide range of critical challenges, such as inspections and installations, bench locksmithing, and preparing equipment for dispatch. An expert source of advice, you’ll provide technical support to colleagues at our headquarters and out in overseas missions. And, when called upon, you’ll travel overseas to deliver your expertise on the ground.

The security systems you work on will be unique. So too will be the range of settings you work in and challenges you face.

You’re the specialist we’re looking for

An experienced locksmith with broad general and specialist experience, you’ll thrive here. You’re a natural team player with the ability to explain complex technical issues to all kinds of customers and, ideally, membership of the Master Locksmiths Association. What’s more, you’re flexible enough to travel to Milton Keynes on a regular basis and to work overseas for up to 22 weeks of the year, often at short notice. Many of the systems our customers use are highly specialised, so specific training will be provided

And you’re looking for a role that will stretch you

At FCO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. Our customers, who include the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. The importance and sheer diversity of our work will present you with some unique challenges. And once in our team, you will find plenty of opportunities to broaden your skill set.

Successful candidates will be required to complete security clearance.
