Job Description

Our person centred, professional teams are recruiting for a responsible and motivated Support Worker to join them on a part-time, permanent basis to support a wonderful lady in Liskeard, Cornwall.

The female that you will be supporting is severely Epileptic and is at risk of SUDEP (Sudden Death in Epilepsy). However, you will be supporting her to do just the same things you and others do. This might be anything from cooking and preparing food to doing housework, shopping, going on days out, building relationships and overall having lots of fun!

You will be expected to cover a waking night shift of 25 hours per week. This role is covered by working two nights on and four nights off, which may occasionally mean, that three shifts will be worked in one week.

The successful candidate will need to be well motivated as this is a position that is mainly lone working, although there will occasionally be additional staff on the premises in case of need.
