Salary and package: £40,000 - £45,000 basic, Car or Allowance, Bonus, Healthcare, Pension
This national, top ten house builder seeks to appoint a Development Engineer to join the Leicestershire office.

The company build quality homes and offer a wide range of property types includes three, four and five bed detached properties; two and three bed terraced and semidetached houses, bungalows and apartments across UK.
As an Engineer you will provide support as necessary in relation to demolition, earthworks, road & sewer works, groundworks, external works, specialist contractor works, services and other production related activities on a number of allocated developments.
The Role:
" Interpret geo-technical and geo-environmental reports and advise on development constraints;
" Procure topographical surveys, utility surveys, structural and party wall surveys;
" Identify existing services, diversions, capacities and off site reinforcements, etc and plan services to new development;
" Oversee the development of a cost effective road and sewer design utilising consultants together with detailed local site works design development;
" Instruct and secure relevant reports to assist in securing planning approval including Flood Risk Assessments, Geo-environmental Appraisals, Transportation Assessments, Utility Appraisals
" Co-ordinate and manage external consultants to resolve any engineering issues
" Ensure compliance with building regulations and NHBC standards
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a strong design background with a civil discipline, either with a Consultancy or a House Builder. You can be an Engineer with another developer who is looking for work for a well know company.
" Highly organised and familiar with coordinating multiple developments
" Full driving licence essential
" Able to work on feasibility sites, live sites and adopted sites
