ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client, a leading property management company that specialise in 'Luxury serviced apartment's which are fully furnished apartments available for both long and short term stays. They offer the guest the services of a hotel but the privacy and convenience of staying in their own home. They are looking for a Property Management Assistant to join their busy and fabulous team.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your main role will be supervising and arranging for all maintenance issues to be dealt with swiftly and to the company high standards.
Maintenance issues will be reported and your role will involve coordinating the engineers and allocating work in order of priority and dispatching the engineers to locations. You will also be responsible for sourcing parts needed for the works and finding the best price.
You will also be liaising with landlords and clients to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
This is a support role assisting the property managers however one that requires someone with knowledge of the property/construction/maintenance sector and someone who is a self-starter and used to communicating with contractors.
Ideal background will be maintenance helpdesk, works allocations or repairs administration or someone with a facilities background.
This is a busy role for someone who is keen for good progression in a fantastic company.
You will be a self-starter with the confidence to make decisions and deal qwith contractors. You will also:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be a strong multi tasker
- Have excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Be extremely well presented
- Be a strong time keeper, confident in dealing with contractors and be IT literate
