The Just Recruitment Group seek an experienced Supply Chain Executive, to join their client based in Bishops Stortford.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and successful business that is continuously growing and developing.

The right candidate will be taken on a Fixed Term Contract of which the length is negotiable, and there will also be an opportunity to become a permanent member of a growing team dependent on performance.

The Supply Chain Executive reports to the Purchasing Manager and is responsible for purchasing and stock control. The Supply Chain Executive has the responsibility to ensure smooth running of the supply chain for their particular suppliers.
Job Content:
The Supply Chain Executive has the following specific areas of responsibility:
*To ensure adequate communication of Supply related issues to users, customers, suppliers, principals etc.
*Obtain purchase prices from suppliers and maintain price files
*Processing purchase orders and liaise with supplier on collection dates and availability
*To update customer service on delays and take required actions to allow conformance to delivery requirements.
*To ensure that suppliers invoices are accurate, and refer discrepancies for remedial action.
*To ensure the performance of the supplier is being monitored and action taken where services fail to meet the requirements
*To ensure that damages and losses are dealt with via suppliers or through claims
*Supplier returns
*Maintain stock levels to ensure sufficient supply without putting the company at risk of excess stock
*Monitoring old and expiring stock
*Price negotiation

Performance Standards.
The performance of the Supply Chain Executive will be judged by the Quality Assurance & Purchasing Manager against the Job Description and any agreed Key Performance Indicators.
Key Roles and Competencies
The following form the basic skills required by the QA&P Manager
*To be pro-active in dealing with problems.
*To have good communications and organisational skills.
*To have a caring attitude in dealing with customer requirements.
*Self-management.
*Working knowledge of the main IT packages used by company
*Negotiation skills
*CIPS diploma preferable but not essential
*Minimum 1 year experience in procurement or purchasing

Our client is offering a competitive salary between £20000-£25000 per annum, working hours are 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.
