Places for People’s Property Maintenance Division are looking for a Void Coordinator to join our busy Preston based team. In this role you will support the Void team to schedule repairs work from receipt of a previous tenants keys until the property is ready to let again.

What your role will be

In this role you will have responsibility for the effective planning of a mobile workforce, working to targets you will ensure increased productivity and a quality cost effective service. Working with the team you will monitor these targets against actuals ensuring they are regularly exceeded.

You will work with our customers, operatives and contractors providing updates when work may exceed schedule and manage hand back dates of properties. You will ensure that our Void proprieties are ready to let making sure they have power on meters and ordering keys. In this role you will also be required to carry out some centralised admin services such as raising purchase orders, scanning test certificates etc.

Your background

This is a busy team so experience working within a property scheduling role would be advantageous.  As you will work closely with customers and staff ideally you will have a background in a customer focused role with excellent customer service skills.  Our aim is to exceed customer needs providing an efficient Voids service and you will play a key role in this. The Void Coordinators role can be varied with multiple properties being at different stages of completion therefore you will be willing to adapt to and work effectively within a variety of situations as required.

Excellent communication and the ability to think ahead, spot opportunities and take actions are essential in this post
