My client is an award winning, market leading full service brand agency, who deliver a best-in-class services across a broad spectrum, including marketing, advertising, public relations, creative, events, celebrity talent management and digital.

They are looking for a Sales Executive for their fast-paced, lively business.

Your main duties will include B2B sponsorship sales in support of the scores of sports, celebrity and business based events they put on across the UK all year round.

Among many others, they manage various golf championships and put on a wide range of regional business and sports awards ceremonies in conjunction with local newspapers.

These ceremonies are the most prominent and popular of their kind in both the East and West Midlands and are soon to achieve similar status in Essex and Surrey. They attract the support of many of the highest profile local and national brands, so your work will be key to their continued growth.

The job will also require that you sell advertising space in the three high end lifestyle magazines they publish biannually.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and an original thinker, unafraid to break new ground and throw ideas around. You will be a communicator, as comfortable closing a sale over the phone as you are presenting at director level or entertaining a well-known sportsperson or celebrity.

Your networking skills will be well developed and you will be a natural when it comes to building and maintaining client relationships. You will have a wide knowledge of the world, along with a solid understanding of sports, popular culture and, of course, the commercial sphere.

They are looking for someone with confidence and a broad palette of skills and aptitudes. As things move at such a pace here, you’ll need to be on top of your time, your inbox and the inevitable admin.

They’ve grown at an excellent rate in recent years, which means there is every opportunity for personal development, the evolution of your role and the scope of your responsibilities.

Excellent IT skills are preferred. A sense of humour is mandatory.

Up to 25k basic with generous uncapped commission and numerous other benefits.
