Kaplan International is a world leading global education business whose activities include a network of English language schools across the English speaking world, the provision of university pathways programmes in partnership with leading universities and accountancy training across the UK.

Our busy Legal team based in West Kensington provides commercial and legal support to the business in a range of areas. We are are now looking for a Paralegal/Legal Projects Manager to join our Legal team and take responsibility for the efficient storage and management of our contracts. The will include managing a contract database, uploading documents, ensuring that documents are categorised and labelled correctly so that they may be retrieved quickly and easily and that key information such as end dates are accurately entered. This will involve extensive liaison with the legal team to establish and check information.

As well as managing the database efficiently, you will also take responsibility for company secretarial duties such as ensuring that annual returns are filed on time and that key company information including names and addresses of directors, is kept up-to-date. An additional area you will help us to manage is reporting on legal spend, which will involve collaborating with our Finance team.

This is a key position which plays a key role the smooth running of our in-house legal function.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

  • high level of initiative
  • excellent attention to detail
