My client is a located in a fun and energised luxury office environment based in Manchester City Centre very close to excellent transport links. We are seeking a Head of Sales to join this busy team, the successful candidate will enjoy a competitive basic salary along with a range of benefits including free use of the company products which you are selling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is outgoing and personable, but also has the drive to get the job done.

In this role you will responsible for building strong relationships with key channel managers and existing corporate accounts along with creating new business opportunities through contact with key decision makers within large corporate businesses. This role is a mix of office based and face to face sales, you will arrange appointments for you to visit and present to your clients and close the sale. This is a full process sales roles where you will also account manage your clients, as well as develop the business of the team you are managing.

As the Head of Sales you will be responsible for:

"Achieve incremental revenue and profitability through Sales and Advertising
"Manage contract negotiations & agreements
"To pro-actively identify, research and source new advertising opportunities that drive incremental revenue and maximise profitability.
"Ensure that all client commercial requirements are implemented in line with commercial agreements and all briefing documents and instructions have been accurately and efficiently carried out to the operation teams - resolving escalated issues immediately.
"To pro-actively identify, research and source new business to business sales opportunities that drive incremental revenue and maximise profitability.
"Drive business to business bulk membership sales
"Maximise and develop external relationships & partnerships
"Proactively generate leads and develops a network of contacts to ensure that the product you are selling is of choice and that profitable opportunities are not lost to competitors.

Successful Head of Sales will have:

"Significant experience in a senior role, leading the Sales function with an outstanding track record of delivering significant growth in both revenue and profitability
"Has previous experience working within or with Promotions Agencies to create sales promotions for FMCG brands or Corporate clients
"Significant experience of sales and winning new business from corporate clients that serve both the Media and employee reward and incentive industries
"Proven ability to create and execute a sales plan which delivers revenue and profitability targets
"Experience of developing relationships with 3rd parties which have delivered significant sales growth
"Able to demonstrate solid examples of designing and delivering presentations which have resulted in significant business wins
"Experience of negotiating commercial agreements which have met or exceeded commercial targets
"Significant experience of successfully coordinating the activities of multi-functional geographically dispersed virtual teams and keeping open lines of communication and feedback
"Dynamic and energetic team leader with proven experience of leading a large team to deliver results
