McLean Ross are partnered with a leading demand side management company. To continue with their rapid growth they are looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager to lead on their sales pipeline and continue to be part of their accelerate growth.

The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be part of the team tasked with spearheading the existing sales growth with potential clients through their direct channel, and exploring new markets with new products. You will identify target accounts and build relationships with key decision makers and partners to be able to deliver on targeted revenue.

Due to the nature of this role you will require superior client care and regular contact with both current and prospective clients and partners. You will also identify new business opportunities, build business cases and then deliver the opportunity to translate new incremental revenue.

The Individual
You will be an energetic, proven and positive business professional with a grasp on the economics of energy and associated markets, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on an ambitious and growing organisation. Furthermore you will;

- Will have a strong sales background within previous experience in the Utilities/ Energy sector.
- Ideally have a demonstrable track record of success with B2B sales.
- Capable of demonstrating previously achieving successful account management performance.
- Experience of managing people and growing successfully sales teams.
