Contracts Manager required as a result of continued expansion in this market leading structural steelwork fabricating business. This growth is largely due to their reputation in the industry and a high demand for the quality workmanship they provide.

The client is seeking to add an experienced Contracts Manager to their team to help support and manage the current workload and client base. You will be coordinating the design, production and installation of large design & build steelworks projects. You will manage multiple projects and need to be an effective manager and decision maker, to monitor contract performance against the budget and take any necessary action to ensure targets are met.

Furthermore, you will manage a team of site managers, oversee subcontractors and arrange other labour resources as required. Direct communication with the client will form a large and important part of the role also, so you will be an effective communicator at all levels.

With at least 5 years experience of running steelworks contracts, you will have developed a good understanding of H&S legislation, method statements and Risk Assessments. It would be useful if you have gained knowledge of the Rail or LUL industries but not essential.
