A privately owned business is recruiting a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant role due to business demand. This company offers free parking and a friendly office environment.

Established in 2012, this business is now £2m turnover with aggressive growth plans. The business has a strong focus on customer service, professionalism and strives to be the best.

As a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Financial Controller, duties include:

- Processing & reconciling Expenses, Debit / Credit / Fuel cards.
- Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger / Credit Control.
- Banking transactions / reconciliations.
- Nominal Ledger / Journals.
- Fixed Assets.
- Stock Control.
- Supporting the Financial Director on projects.
- Other financial activities.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

- Qualified by experience or studying AAT.
- You will have previously worked in a similar role as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Management Accountant or Bookkeeper.
- Working knowledge Sage is essential.
