We are currently working with an independent insurance and risk management consultancy that have market leading experience and expertise within the insurance profession and now have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented Development Executive to join their office based in Coventry.
As Development Executive you will be a strong relationship builder with an objective to proactively develop successful and lasting relationships within an existing panel of SME sized commercial insurance brokers, promoting and representing the brand whilst also having a strong focus on winning new business and chasing warm prospect leads.
- Secure new Commercial business within set company targets
- Building your own pipeline of business and engaging in continued new lead generation.
- You will be responsible for presentation and conversion of new business prospects and servicing portfolios
- working with companies paying premiums
- Dedicated account handling available as well as key insurer agencies providing competitive pricing and outstanding service levels.
- maintaining relationships with potential clients
- New business data/software sales experience preferred or demonstrable hunger to proactively win new business
- Value Based sales approach
- Excellent networking skills and ability to self-generate new business opportunities
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Strong Negotiation and Influencing skills
- Knowledge of the Commercial/Corporate risk market would be beneficial
