Broker Development Executive required by a leading insurance organisation, due to continued growth. This business are the leading UK network for independent insurance brokers who offer their members exclusive bespoke products through their insurance partners, as well as on-going support and advice.

This is a client facing role, where you will be responsible for attracting new brokers and engaging with people who may be looking start a brokerage. You will actively manage a strong pipeline of suitable targeted opportunities within your territory, promoting the company brand and managing proposals through to completion. You will be managing your own sales pipeline, pro-actively creating and developing relationships to maximise on new business opportunities.

As well as the usual activity such as calls and sales visits, you will also attend industry events such as trade functions and work with the marketing team to target key insurance brokers in your area. You will manage your own pipeline, and ensure that potential prospects are aware of the network value added services and support that is on offer.

It is essential for this role that you can demonstrate a good sales record with strong negotiation and communication skills. You will be highly organised, and have the ability to maintain professional business relationships ideally gained within the insurance market. Knowledge of the insurance broking market and the general insurance landscape would also be beneficial.
