Reed Education Stratford office works with schools in the East London Area. Currently we are looking for a Teacher of the Deaf for a primary school. 

This position is to start on the 18th of April 2017, Long term - Part time basis

The School:

• OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding ’Provision for Deaf Children

Is a large and spacious 1930s building with attractive architectural features. The layout and size of the building gives them the capacity and facility to have specialist teaching rooms, including a state of the art library.

Every classroom is also equipped with a Soundfield system which specifically improves communication with deaf pupils but also aids listening for every child. Every class also has an interactive whiteboard.


- Planning the lesson
- The progress of all children must be monitored regularly, which means that any learning, emotional or behavioural difficulties which affect progress can be identified at an early stage.
- Teacher set work to challenge each pupil at their own level within the class group and this includes differentiating tasks to stretch the more able pupil.
