You will highlight and promote the company's brand. Develop a strong pipeline of targeted opportunities within your area of suitable Brokers. In all instances conducting a professional and informative handover of the correct dedicated member of the relevant BDM team. Proactively forging and developing relationships with Identifiable Third Party groups including but not restricted to: Insurers, Software Providers, Wholesalers, Appointed Representatives, Recruitment Consultants, Industry Consultants, Compliance companies/consultants. Proactively identifying quality start up brokers to join the network with the confirmed and agreed backgrounds and business plans that suit the network.

You will build, maintain and proactively manage your own pipeline of potential membership ensuring this activity is visible to all, utilising insurers, 3rd parties and other relationships to ensure the organisation becomes visible to those in the industry looking to a network for services and support or who are considering starting a brokerage. You will personally undertake the necessary activity which will include telephone calls and visits, in a structured, professional and timely manner to convert opportunities to new members. Work collaboratively with BDM's including joint meetings. Ensuring you operate in a consistent manner delivering on time, every time with a positive and supportive approach. Handing over new members to the BDM team in a structured, professional and timely manner in line with the territory plan. Achieve monthly activity and meeting targets.

Will have an existing personable, credible and professional reputation in your territory. Fully aware and compliant of the company proposition, the competition, the strategic Insurer proposition to Network members, the regulatory and legislative framework. Will have a positive and influential relationship with all Network staff delivering support, insight and assistance where required. Will ensure work activities are planned in a cost effective and logical way, continuously improving the sales process. To participate in meetings, trade functions and events including road-shows as required, regional meetings/conference and days away. Working with the marketing team to own a marketing strategy which will be used for prospects, social media and overall promotion of the network as the recognised person promoting its reputation in your agreed area. Other duties and activities that may be necessary as directed by the line manager or Head of New Sales.

Broking, insurers and the insurance market - preferred. You will be sales driven and target driven. Financially motivated. Broker systems - preferred. Holding good relationship management skills. Will have experience of basic collation and analysis of MI. Will ideally be working towards the CII qualification. Will have experience of working with Microsoft i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
