Industrial Refrigeration Engineer

You will ideally be a time served engineer, with at least three years post apprenticeship experience, with C&G F-Gas 2079 and Safe Handling of Ammonia Certification.
You will require a high degree of electrical/mechanical competency, together, with good communication skills and proven proficiency in safe handling of refrigerants, including ammonia, hydrocarbons etc.
Flexibility is required as the role will involve working overtime at short notice and participation in a stand-by rota. The engineer will also be required to assist with the installation and commissioning of some new installations.
The engineer will be required to carry out maintenance, service and trouble-shooting (involving the diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems problems) on industrial/commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and process equipment.
The engineer will be required to liaise directly with the customer/client to ensure work is carried out to their satisfaction and to identify future potential business.
There is a requirement to give detailed technical reports on work carried out, or further work necessary to restore plant to optimum operating efficiency and to correctly complete work reports/timesheets to enable invoices to be submitted with minimum delay.
