Payroll Clerk / Account Clerk
Thorn Baker are recruiting a Payroll /Accounts Clerk, due to continued expansion, on a permanent basis.
Somercotes, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Initially the position will be covering the Purchase Ledger side of the Accounts Department together with weekly and monthly payroll preparation and processing, but we are looking for applicants with all round Accounts Experience who will be able to assist other areas when required.
Initial role will include
* Process Goods received paperwork
* Matching coding and processing purchase invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Preparing supplier payments
* Process and payment of Company expense claims
* Maintain Excel cashbook
* Weekly and monthly payroll processing using Sage Payroll
* Month end accruals and reconciliation's
* Filing & general admin tasks
Good Communication skills
Confident with Excel
Experience in Purchase and Sales Ledger processing
Experience with Sage Payroll
Good attention to detail
Working to deadlines
