Applicant Criteria: Peters Dean Care are seeking candidates with relevant experience of working directly with disadvantaged children and young people within residential care settings who hold Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent. You will need to be flexible to working a residential care rota which includes evenings, weekends and holiday periods, and be able to demonstrate a desire to benefit the lives of disadvantaged people.
The role: You will work within a leading provider of children’s services who offer job security and career prospects that are unmatched in the present market. You will have opportunity to progress in to management roles and be given excellent training to support your development. The role encompasses all aspects of caring for young people within residential care, including supporting the development of their independence, social and life skills and working with the team to provide a safe and secure. You will also lead shifts, hold key working responsibilities and potentially be involved in staff supervision and training and development of others. You will need to be compassionate and resolute and able to manage challenging behaviours confidently.
- Basic salary banded between £20,000 - £25,000 with Sleep Ins paid on top
