The successful candidate will be expected to negotiate joint business ventures that boost existing income whilst identifying and delivering on new opportunities for investment. Working on the company’s well-established marketing pipeline, the Senior Trade Marketing Manager will secure, develop, and manage relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive front line activity and commercial success.

Key duties include:

- Developing new trade marketing relationships, and building upon existing relationships to grow investment and maximise commercial opportunities.
- Managing Trade Marketing Executives to ensure all activity is delivered on time and
- correctly.
- Ensuring clear lines of communication for all marketing activity within the business.
- Working alongside other key functions of the business to identify opportunities to commercialise range and space opportunities within existing Category Management framework.
- Working with Trade Marketing Director to track all investment and spend.
- Managing delivery of all income in line with budget commitments.
- Monitoring competitor and brand partner activity.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin and category optimisation to deliver commercial results.
- Experience of Trade Marketing (visibility/promotions/point of sale/merchandising and use of space) within retail/travel/catering.
- Proven history of setting and delivering targets.
- Experience of creating and commercialising new opportunities and presenting them persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders.
