Winners! are delighted to be working in partnership with this global engineering organisation in order to appoint an HR professional into their personnel team based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Reporting to the HR Manager and working in a team of 4 HR professionals this role is a pivotal addition to the team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Providing 360 HR advice to managers and team members alike.
Sharing best practice, attending meetings, recruiting and interviewing, managing staff appraisals, reviews and investigating/holding disciplinary and grievance processes/meetings.
Ideally CIPD Level 3 this role presents significant challenge for an individual seeking a more diverse and challenging appointment within a multifaceted organisation.
It is envisaged that the successful applicant will be already experienced in a generalist HR appointment and ready to work towards Level 5 CIPD qualification. You will possess excellent communication skills and confidence in meeting with personnel of all levels.
This role is going to present some diverse and complex matters so it is essential that you are able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and be able to react well to situations on top of being able to manage your own work load.
You will be organised, both pro-active and reactive with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel).
This role presents an element of travel (2-3 days away once every 6 weeks) in order to support the company's operation in the North.
This role is offered as a permanent contract of employment at 40 hours per week (0830 - 1700) Monday - Friday. Along with competitive remuneration a comprehensive benefits package will be offered to the successful individual.
