Graduate Event Researcher/Producer
The job involves putting together the agenda and intellectual content of international commercial conferences and recruiting the speakers. You'll be the Producer, not the event manager, so you'll be researching the conference topics and writing the programme, not booking the hotel and choosing the food. These events are occasions for senior executives from companies all over the world to learn about new developments and to network, and producing them means you could find yourself in New York, Hong Kong, Munich or Delhi!
This 25 year old company has annual revenues of £25 million and offices in London and New York. Its structure is flat, there isn't a rigid hierarchy and the vibe is stimulating and multi-national. It's constantly on the lookout for energetic, entrepreneurial people with a real interest in business and great communication skills.
The company likes a good degree of course but it also needs evidence of a questing, entrepreneurial nature and, ideally, some commercial experience. It wants people who can assume responsibility and make their own decisions. If you can do that it has a training programme that's been described as "better than an MBA" that will help you develop your abilities to the max.
