Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a vibrant seasonal company based in Billingham who are requiring an experienced Accounts Assistant to join on a part time, permanent basis.
Your new role
In the role of Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Finance Manager and will assist them with the accounts function. Duties include but are not limited to; Bank Postings, Credit Card / Expenses / Petty Cash posting and reconciliation of the Sales and Purchase Ledger. You will also assist the Finance Manager in month end processes as well as general office administration.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have prior experience of working in a Finance department and ideally have excellent Microsoft skills. Experience of SAP is a desired skill, however this is not a requirement. You will need to have strong organisational skills, be numerate, accurate as well as flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
