Your new role
This position is there to manage the day to day running of the finance team. With a headcount of five, you would be responsible for managing purchase ledger, sales ledger, management accounting and treasury. Directly you would be responsible for significant parts of month end, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, consolidation accounts, auditing and compliance. With some new recruits, the position is a hands on managers role that will have a strong focus also around staff support and development.
What you'll need to succeed
It would be ideal if you are fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, however the business are open to applications outside this. The key is that you have worked in a similar role before, where you have been responsible for all day to day accounting, managing a small team. Broad technical accounting and advanced skill on MS Excel is also key. Personal qualities required include an innovative, proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead.
