We're looking to speak to an experienced Assistant Accountant who is seeking a great opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in Grimsby. It is a permanent position where you will become part of a small enthusiastic and passionate team, reporting into and supporting the Finance Director. It is vital that you have a broad understanding of accounts accompanied by experience of working within a busy finance function. You will be able to hit the ground running with the duties below:
· Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts for review
· Accruals, prepayments and posting journals
· Variance analysis and investigating discrepancies
· Bank reconciliations
· Cashbook and daily banking
· Weekly KPI reporting
· Nominal ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
· Aged debt management
· VAT returns and statutory reporting
· Multi-currency reporting
It is important that you are a personable individual who is a good team player with ability to build and maintain both colleague and client relations at pace. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified and must have relevant experience including management accounts preparation. You will be IT literate including Excel and Sage.
