Sales Support Executive

My client is a national Technology Services provider based in Manchester. This is an exciting time to join this ever-growing business as they are expanding into new offices in Trafford Park. They are now looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual to join a well-established Corporate Sales Team. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for executing sales office functions and participating in the development, implementation and improvement of systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise the preparation and issuing of sales quotes
  • Completion of sales sheets for run-rate business from Corporate clients
  • Support the corporate sales team with a comprehensive support service including handling first line enquiries
  • Liaise closely with internal departments to resolve customer queries - SOP, credit control, customer service and finance
  • Assist the sales team to create and maintain accurate customer records in (CRM database)
  • Help build new business data via calling and researching key market areas
  • Maintain a daily work schedule to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Gather and record market and customer information
  • Ensure all sales support tasks are completed accurately and to specified deadlines
  • Other general ad hoc duties

Person specification

  • Previous experience as a Sales Coordinator, Internal Sales Executive or Internal Account Manager
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Familiarity of sales office processes and procedures
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Self-motivated, outgoing and pro-active working within a team environment
