I am currently working on behalf of a well-known healthcare provider that support adults living with a learning disability or autism with complex needs across specialist health and social care settings throughout the UK.
The service itself is an independent hospital which provides assessment and intervention for men who have a learning disability and complex needs including people who have mental health problems and behaviours that challenge services.
As a Registered Manager you will be leading the staff team in further improving the quality of the service and delivering the right outcomes for people who use it. You will have overall responsibility and accountability for the management of the service. As the Service Manager you will encourage in others the required standards of practice. Through effective leadership and management, you will ensure full compliance to the relevant regulatory and professional standards
Applicants looking to apply will need to have experience in the management of services for people with a learning disability, ideally within a therapeutic rehabilitation framework. You will also need to meet the requirements of the regulator in terms of experience and qualification for the service. You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong staff manager. Applicants will ideally have a valid nursing qualification, ideally RNLD but RMN will also be considered.
Our client provides full training and clear pathways to progress. Training includes Free Comprehensive induction, Leading & Managing in the Workplace, Maybo, RIVO Training, Root Cause Analysis, to name a few. They also cover the cost of your DBS check.
