Applied Modelling Analyst
The Applied Modelling Analyst supports the company’s core analytic activities and business functions, including the development of consumer segmentation schemes, asset valuation, operational modelling to improve resource allocation and channel profitability, and model quality and parameter re-estimation.

???•?????Independently summarise analysis results for direct managers and colleagues and explain the rationale for specific analytic decisions expertly and clearly
???•?????Develop expertise around different aspects of the business model and approach, and demonstrate the ability to lead projects within specific functions
???•?????Maintain and re-estimate the statistical models as appropriate
???•?????Active participation in the department’s Modelling Symposium, which includes discussion of theoretical and methodological papers, peer-review of ongoing projects, topical seminars, and ongoing training focused on effective communications, data visualisation, and experimental methods
???•?????Statistical or analytic experience with a financial services, high-technology, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology firm
???•?????Ability to understand operational processes and describe modelling frameworks and complex analytics to operational staff and laypeople
???•?????Knowledge of formal statistical methodologies, including some of the following: logistic regression, generalised linear models, categorical data analyses, ANOVA, and regression models
???•?????Proficiency with base SAS and SAS/STAT, or a related technology (e.g., R, Matlab, or IDL)
???•?????Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
???•?????Stakeholder management skills
???•?????Excellent communication skills
