talentdesk are working with an employer of choice in South Cambridge to recruit for a Procurement Officer, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
You will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure procurement procedures are adhered to and processes followed.
You will be involved in:
- Coordinating purchase order deliveries and ensuring goods are delivered to correct locations
- Supporting all procurement activity and liaising with internal staff to provide outstanding levels of customer service
- Building and maintaining solid, effective relationships with all parties
- Monitoring KPI's of suppliers to improve efficiencies and identify potential issues
- Looking at ways to improve and streamline processes
You must be highly motivated, have the ability to quickly develop relationships and have a good level of numeracy. Confident in the use of Microsoft packages and collaborative team player.
