My client is a leading player in the retail financial services industry, looking for finance managers to deliver the finance elements of their company business plan to deliver P&L and KPI targets.

This role would suit a current finance manager or an aspiring assistant store manager looking grow within a finance specialism.

Your focus will be to daily manage best practice delivering excellent customer service at every interaction with your customers whilst maintaining an ethical compliant business.

Role: Finance Manager (Retail)
Salary: £17.5- £21,000k + Plus generous bonus OTE £27k
Locations - London (all)

You must be a commercially focused finance manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, working with the Store Manager managing a large profit centre, you must be commercially aware and have the ability to coach and support your team to deliver results.

You will be shop floor focused, with an excellent customer ethic, and you will have the ability to sell your services to the external customer and your engage your team to sell.
You will have retail experience as a current finance manager either within the financial services or as an assistant manager in retail with the aspirations to be a specialist within your role.

You must have a desire to succeed using your management skills to support store operations.
You must be an excellent people manager with superior coaching skills, and a willingness to support the development of your team members.

You must have a passion for selling both yourself and through your team, and have the ability to succeed within a target related environment.

You must be inspiring, engaging and motivating to colleagues to deliver the highest level of customer service while encouraging a fun, friendly, atmosphere.

Enjoy coaching and developing store colleagues, ensuring everyone has the skills and knowledge to perform their role to their greatest potential.

The Person

You must have had experience within a selling environment promoting sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to your customers.

You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work, you will be tenacious, hardworking and reliable.

In addition to this you will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills with a real 'can do' attitude.

Highly commercial, entrepreneurial, super focused and energetic with a proven record of delivering profit.

A problem-solver, data-interpreter and savvy business decision-maker.

An unshakably solid planner, with top-notch organisational skills who is ambitious, driven and self-motivated.

Somebody with a sense of urgency that can work at pace with attention to detail at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that customers are always treated fairly in in every transaction and the store meets company standards and follows FSA regulations
Delivery of KPI's measures including outgoings, new customer numbers and bad debt figures
Maintain an awareness of competitor information an manage decisions accordingly
Recruitment of your team
Managing the store KPI's, sales & productivity targets.
H & S and instore risk assessments.
Managing compliance to FSA regulations.
