Site Managers Required - Edinburgh

About the Client:

Established for over 30 years this UK market-leading provider of Commercial Flooring Solutions require an experienced Site Manager to come on board. This role requires a high calibre applicant, with previous experience in the flooring sector and to have extensive knowledge of all types of flooring including timber, laminate, vinyl, linoleum, carpet, carpet tiles and ceramics etc. The successful Site Manager will have proven experience within a similar role.

About the Role:

* Responsibility for ensuring Projects are completed to cost and on time
* Responsible for performance and delivery on site
* Able to convert plans and construction drawings into completed, cost-effective construction on site
* Overall responsibility for the quality of completed projects
* Responsible for programming and the efficient completion of works on site
* Reporting to the Contracts Manager

About the Candidate:

* At least 2 years' experience as a Site Manager
* Good IT skills with ability to use Word and Excel to generate documents. The ability to use AutoCAD would be an advantage
* Able to communicate effectively with clients, architects and other professionals as well as contractors and trades people
* Able to take-off quantities and estimate costs
* Must have Flooring experience
* Excellent site and people management skills are essential
* Must have worked on projects up to the value £1million
* A self-motivated individual who is keen to develop their role within the company
* Personable, friendly and happy to work independently or as part of a team - ability to 'Build Relationships'
