Finance Assistant

A Finance Assistant is required in a leading law firm in the City Centre of Glasgow.
Your new company

You will be joining a leading law firm based in the City Centre of Glasgow. They are the biggest personal injury and employment law practice in Scotland. Your new role

You will be joining their team on a permanent basis and will be reporting directly to the treasury manager. You will be overseeing the purchase ledger department dealing with both client and firm expenditure. You will be processing invoices, managing cash-flow, preparing balance sheets and processing reconciliations, as well as having a senior role in the team and ensuring that the department runs smoothly.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you will need to have strong experience in cash-flow management and transactions, and also a strong knowledge of accounts overall. You will need to be comfortable processing invoices, preparing balance sheets and processing reconciliations. As well as this, you will be a senior member of staff in a team of purchase ledgers, so good communication skills are a must.
