Due to a period of significant growth they are now looking to build their already impressive team and take the company into the next phase in their development and to ensure that they are able to continue to service their customers’ engineering needs.

THE ROLE
As a Project Engineer you will:

• Lead the creation of engineering programmes, setting objectives, identifying critical paths, risks and timeframes
• Create and drive a live inter-department (engineering) capacity plan and maintain this based on developments
• Manage any sub-contract resources, predominantly from a planning and contracts viewpoint
• Constantly review project specifications and ensure stakeholders carry the same interpretation in order to avoid risk within the established strategy
• Be working with the Project and Engineering SMT teams in response to an established project or enquiry to create a plan for delivery
• Be working with Lead Engineers to ensure control documentation is in place for the design aspect of the projects (DCD, DDCR, concessions and rework applications, reviews, TQ’s etc.)
• Involved in creating new processes to support delivery of projects in conjunction with the Engineering Delivery Manager, Engineering SMT and involved stakeholders

THE PERSON

In order to be considered for this Project Engineer role it is expected that you will have:

• A relevant Engineering Degree
• Experience and training within Project Engineering or Project Management
• 5 years+ experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Demonstrable experience in creating and managing strong project programmes
• Experience of managing sub-contract or external partners
