Care Manager

The Good Care Group is a dynamic, forward thinking provider of quality home care. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of others.

The Care Manager role is fast paced, responsible and varied. You will be reporting to a Regional Manager covering South West London. Your time will be split between office work and being out in your region with your clients and your carers.

You must be an excellent organiser with a "can do" attitude. This is not a position that is to be taken lightly as we place a huge amount of emphasis on the support that you will be providing for the carers that are working out in their placements on a live-in basis. The role of a carer can be intense so the support that you can offer them is invaluable.

You will work very closely with your Regional Manager to help manage the care delivery of approximately 20 clients as well as to support and mentor approximately 50 carers.

This role is vital to the success of our business and to the smooth running of our operation as you will provide a key link between our operations team, our clients, our carers and our Service Centre.

The role of the Care Manager is;

To deliver against their accountabilities as a Care Manager for The Good Care Group and the legal responsibilities associated with that role. This person will be accountable for supporting the Regional Manager in achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) directly associated with the delivery of care for the organisation. Accountable to the Regional Manager, the Care Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of care to all clients, will support the line management of the professional care team and will ensure the business remains at a competitive advantage by maximising contact with key care professionals. The success of the Care Manager in their role will be measured through, not only key business criteria, but also by how they execute their role in context of the mission and values of the organisation.

• Working towards or holds a Registered Managers Award or Leadership and Management for Care award

• Strong communication skills

• Customer Relations skills
