Role: Online Marketing Executive

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Location: Halifax

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £18,000-£30,000 Dependant on experience

Online Marketing Executive

The Role:

To improve the quality of consumer facing product information required for online customers, enabling them to maximise sales. Secondly, continue development of the company website and social media activity to raise awareness of our brands and increase sales via trade partners.

  • Producing the product marketing information required by largest online customers such as keywords and long descriptions for all products.
  • Collating the information required so online customers can promote bespoke sales bundles.
  • Ensuring all products is marketed effectively on the company website to maximise sales and answer FAQs for every product (by utilising data made available by other departments).
  • Work closely with IT to execute the future development of the company and branded websites to maximise SEO and increase visitor numbers.
  • Work closely with IT to introduce a new trade portal and introduce a new spares website.
  • Development of the use of social media to raise profile of brands with consumers.
  • Plan promotional campaigns for the large online customers.

Online Marketing Executive

The Candidate

The Online Marketing Executive must be a highly motivated creative thinker, be able to work well within a team (as well as using their own initiative) and contribute to a new fresh approach to online marketing and website development.

  • A successful track record in a previous online marketing role.
  • Online Marketing related qualification plus 6 GCSE’s grade C and above (including English and Maths).
  • Be able to produce high quality, thorough keywords and long descriptions for specific products.
  • Good technical knowledge of how to develop a website and maximise visitor numbers.
  • Experience of utilising Webmaster tools and Google analytics to drive SEO and web development.
  • Previous experience of social media marketing.
  • Experience of reporting on the success of all online and digital marketing undertaken.
  • Experience of adding and editing content on a website CMS system.
  • An interest in online marketing and new developments.

Our client is a leading supplier within its field, distributing to a number of retailers across the country. They have recently expanded into a new distribution centre and have been operational for over 30 years. Due to a restructure they are looking for a Sales Team Leader to join its team.
