Company secretary assistant, listed experience and ICSA.
New role for an enterprising and ever expanding fund administration company. Currently going through a very exciting period and as a result they are experiencing a very strong demand for their services.
Working in a new team, you will enjoy this role if you want to be part of a new and exciting department. You will have scope to help and shape new policies and procedures.
Ideally qualified but it is fine if you're not. More important is attitude and willingness to get "stuck in".
Role & responsibilities
To provide services for the listed Real Estate Investment Trusts and related financing vehicles.
To ensure that the investment trusts are run in accordance with the terms specified in the Investment Management Agreements, Company Law, AIFMD, Stock Exchange, Corporate Governance recommendations and other applicable regulations.
To co-ordinate the planning and delivery of quarterly dividends paid by the investment trusts.
To co-ordinate the production of Interim and Annual Reports of the investment trusts.
Attendance at and organisation of Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings
Production of Board Papers and taking minutes of meetings
Writing the governance and corporate sections of the Annual Report
Provision of advice on Company Law and Corporate Governance (liaising with external advisers as necessary)
To build and maintain strong working relationships with the non-executive directors of the REIT Boards, Investment advisers and other external providers.
Maintenance of insider processes/lists and subsequent Directors' dealing announcement /notifications in compliance with Market Abuse Regulations.
