Food and Beverage Manager

Full time (40 hours per week)


Near Kingsbridge

We are working with one of the South Hams most prestigious and celebrated hotels who are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable food and beverage manager. We are looking to a talented individual who has a real flare for quality food and impeccable customer service. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about food and beverage hospitality, and restaurant service. High end restaurant management/supervisory experience is essential. Our client is offering excellent hours, training and development, and a friendly environment.

Key duties:

  • To be directly involved with all F&B operations with a hands-on service on a daily basis.
  • To be responsible for all F&B staff including training, management, rotas, and disciplinary action.
  • To work closely with the general manager, head chef, and events manager regarding all hotel and events functions.
  • Optimise sales and increase revenues.
  • Closely monitor stock expenditure and budgets.
  • To provide a first-class service to all, ensuring expectations are exceeded at all times.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience as a high-end restaurant manager/supervisory experience is essential.
  • Banquet and events experience preferred.
  • People management preferred.
  • An innate flare for quality service.
  • Well presented.
