We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to be based on our clients site in Warrington.
The ideal candidate will be educated to Mechanical/Electrical Degree/Diploma level or equivalent standard and/or extensive experience with electro mechanical equipment, be process focused with a disciplined approach to following set processes, have experience of working in a customer facing environment with demanding SLA's, A knowledge of software is desirable, PC literate (Fully proficient with XP, MS office, particularly Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook and comfortable working knowledge of PC hardware) with excellent communication skills.

We are looking for a customer focused individual who will provide an efficient and effective response to the customer whilst providing speedy first time fix to all breakdowns through methodical diagnosis, corrective action and testing.
The role is 80% mechanical, which is not difficult fixes due to the machines themselves, however the candidate will need to have full understanding and working knowledge of the more technical fixes such as IT / electronics (circuit boards), IT communication issues for some of the more frequent problems.
Provide site cover on customer site as required, ensuring machine performance is in line with or exceeds the customer's contractual SLA's, carrying out routine and planned maintenance in line with OEM's requirements.
Complying with all procedures including health & safety regulations.
Discuss any improvement and innovation opportunities with the service management team and customer to add value at every opportunity, escalating any prolonged down time as per agreed escalation procedures
Maintain stock inventory control by keeping the parts usage, parts request, parts transfer, parts refurbishments and stock control paperwork up to date. Ensure at all times, where a designated engineer exists on a customer site, that the work area/environment is kept tidy, safe and a clear desk policy is adhered to at all times. Notify the line manager immediately of any health & safety issues
Completion and submission of all relative documentation in a timely manner, eg, overtime claims, expenses, customer signed bank holiday shift completion documents.
Occasional travel to another site may be required, and the shifts is 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm - on a two week rotational basis. Flexibility is required. Excellent holidays and benefits are available.

Salary £28k + Shift allowance & overtime
